중국 스마트폰 제조사 샤오미(Xiaomi)는 애플을 추월해 세계 2위 스마트폰 제조사로 등극했다고 시장 조사 기관 카날리스(Canalys)가 지난 목요일(15일) 보고서에서 밝혔다.
해당 보고서에 따르면 샤오미(Xiaomi)는 전 세계 스마트폰 출하량에서 전 분기대비 3% 증가하여 17%로 첫 2위를 차지했다.
한편, 전체 스마트폰 출하량은 2분기에 12% 성장하였다. 삼성전자(Samsung)는 19%의 점유율로 1위, 애플(Apple)은 14%의 점유율로 3위를 기록했다.
